When: Thursday, July 22, 8 – 9:30 a.m.
Where: The Woman’s Club of Minneapolis, 410 Oak Grove St., Minneapolis (near Walker Art)
In this world of doing more with less, wouldn’t it be nice to just send a good word out about your company and let it spread like kudzu? Why should your company spend the equivalent of the national deficit for good advertisement when you can let your customers sing your praises using word-of-mouth marketing? Attend this seminar only if you are really interested in learning how to:
1.Encourage your customers to do your advertising for you.
2.Combine the newest strategies, tactics and channels with the world’s oldest form of communication to maximize your company’s image.
3.Overcome and use negative word of mouth to improve your communications.
About the Speakers
Rebecca Lunna’s 15 years in the communications industry began as a consumer journalist working as both writer and editor for trade and consumer magazines and even had the dream job of serving as the food and dining editor for Mpls.St.Paul Magazine. She has worked with a wide variety of B-to-B and B-to-C clients including Arctic Cat, Cargill, CenterPoint Energy, Caribou Coffee, Deluxe Financial Services, Target and United HealthCare.
Heather Saucier joined Periscope in 2009 as a sociologist in the Insight and Innovation group. She is responsible for providing the agency’s account teams and clients with relevant and actionable consumer and business insights and strategies. Prior to joining Periscope, Heather was a senior strategist at Yamamoto Moss Mackenzie, a branding agency in Minneapolis. She has experience developing audience / influencer maps, attitudinal and ethnographic studies, sales cycle mapping, strategic planning, brand development and messaging. She has applied these tools in healthcare, financial services, B-to-B, packaged goods and retail while leveraging both traditional and social media.
