June 7 – What Corporate Social Responsibility means for my organization

General Mills helps raise money for the education of girls in Malawi. Wells Fargo sponsors over 10 free financial education programs. In an effort to be more environmentally responsible, Cargill has reduced both its water use and methane emissions at many of its processing facilities. These companies also donate millions of dollars – and employee hours – each year to organizations dedicated to fighting poverty, funding the arts, improving education, repairing homes and dozens of other community-building activities.
Such efforts are the product of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. They directly benefit people outside the company, but they also drive innovation and remind people outside and inside a business that, in the end, corporations exist to benefit others – and that’s vital for employee morale and public relations.
But how do you get a CSR program going at your company, or how do you improve the one that’s already there? Our answer: learn from the best.
That’s why we’ve put together a fantastic program June 7 at the Wells Fargo building in Minneapolis. CSR leaders from four of Minnesota’s biggest companies – Wells Fargo, Target, Cargill, and General Mills – will talk about building, maintaining, and growing their own CSR programs. They’ll also be on hand to answer your questions.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn the ins and outs of fantastic CSR programs from these speakers:
