March 22 – Networking Event with ABCs

At IABC Minnesota’s March Networking Event you’ll have the unique opportunity to develop your interpersonal communication skills through networking and actual practice with accredited IABC members. The process of  becoming an Accredited Business Communicator (ABC) demonstrates superior communication skills and you’ll have the opportunity to see these skills in action as you team up with accredited professionals to create an IABC advertisement.

Here’s the catch. Non-ABCs must find the ABCs by networking.

Then, the accredited IABC members will team up with non-ABCs to create an ad for an upcoming IABC event that will be selected for actual use on the organization’s website. Attendants will learn what it takes to create an effective ad, such as goal-setting, audience research, writing, presentation, project management, time management, ethics, and problem-solving.

Already an accredited IABC member? This is a networking event you won’t want to miss! You play a big role in the leadership of IABC Minnesota and in the development of our non-accredited members.

Are you new to IABC? Come early and join other new members starting at 4:30 p.m. for a free educational welcome event (no registration needed). Learn about the exclusive resources available to you as an IABC member, as well as how to maximize your membership by getting involved through volunteering or attending upcoming educational programs. For questions contact Tiffany Jungers, 952-346-6082, tjungers@webershandwick.com.
